Tiny may not be perfect, but she doesn’t expect you to be either! As a kitten she suffered from a severe eye infection which left her blind in one eye. So in one sense, she’s not “perfect”. But she doesn’t know that. And you won’t notice it either once you get this sweetheart home. She’ll make a loving affectionate pet and a great addition to your household.

The Helotes Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to placing rescued animals in loving homes. All of our animals receive age-appropriate vaccinations, testing, a microchip, and spay or neuter surgery, if needed. Adoption fees vary based on species, breed, and other features. Fees start at $150 for cats and kittens and start at $250 for dogs and puppies.
Helotes Humane Society is a foster-based rescue with the majority of our adoptable pets residing in foster homes. We are not a shelter, so we do not usually have adoptable pets at our office location. To meet one of our adoptable pets, please complete an application (no obligation) to connect with our foster team.

As a small non-profit organization, we rely heavily on volunteers to foster animals, run adoption events, plan fundraisers, maintain our facilities, sort donations, answer phones, create materials, and a myriad of other tasks. Interested in joining our team of volunteers, complete an application and we will help you find the right spot for your skills and talents.
Second Chances Thrift Shop is a hidden treasure that helps support the Helotes Humane Society. If you are looking for that special unique item you won’t find at the big box stores, come visit us! You’ll find everything from books, clothing, and household items to antiques and collectibles. We do the sorting, you do the discovering!
